PATIENT INFORMATION

Frequently Asked Questions About Private Dental Care in Crewe

How much does private dental treatment cost in Crewe?

The cost depends on the appointment or treatment you need. Our private fees page shows the current starting prices for common services, including examinations, emergency appointments, hygiene care, fillings, crowns, dentures, teeth whitening and dental scans. After assessing your needs, your dentist will explain the appropriate options and provide a personalised estimate.

Why do some prices say “from”?

Some treatments vary in complexity, the number of teeth involved, the appointment time required and the materials used. A price marked “from” is the starting fee. We will explain your individual cost after an assessment and before treatment begins.

Will I know the cost before treatment begins?

Yes. Your dentist will explain the recommended treatment, available options and likely fees. When further care is required, you will receive an estimate before deciding whether to proceed. Please ask our team if anything about your treatment plan or fee is unclear.

Is treatment included in an emergency appointment fee?

The emergency appointment fee covers your urgent assessment and diagnosis. A filling, extraction, prescription or other treatment may carry an additional charge. Where possible, we will explain the treatment required and its cost before proceeding.

Are you accepting new private dental patients in Crewe?

Please contact Allen House Dental Crewe to ask about current new-patient availability. Our team can explain how to arrange an initial assessment and what to expect at your first appointment.

Can I spread the cost of routine private dental care?

Our private dental membership plans allow eligible patients to pay monthly for specified routine examinations and hygiene appointments. They are intended to encourage regular attendance and make routine care easier to budget for.

Visit our dental membership plan page to compare what is included in each plan.

Does membership cover every dental treatment?

No. Membership includes only the routine appointments and benefits specified in your chosen plan. Members may receive a 10% discount on most private treatments, but exclusions, conditions and waiting periods can apply. Dental implants, orthodontics and selected cosmetic treatments are among the exclusions, so please check with our team before relying on a discount.

What is included in the Crewe dental membership plans?

The Allen House Membership includes two dental health examinations, two hygiene appointments and clinically necessary small X-rays each year. The Enhanced Membership includes two dental health examinations, four hygiene appointments and clinically necessary small X-rays each year.

Both plans also provide a 10% discount on most private treatments and eligibility to request assistance through the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme, subject to the applicable terms, limitations and exclusions. View the full details on our Crewe membership plan page.

Is the membership plan the same as NHS care?

No. The dental membership plan is a private arrangement for specified routine private care. It is separate from NHS dental treatment, NHS registration and NHS patient charges.

Can I join the membership plan instead of paying privately each time?

If the plan is suitable for you, it can cover the routine appointments listed in your membership and allow you to pay monthly rather than paying for those appointments individually. Other treatment may still be charged separately. Read the membership plan details or ask our Crewe team for help choosing the appropriate option.

How do I join a dental membership plan?

Review the plan options and then contact our Crewe team. We can explain the monthly fees, what is included, exclusions, the initial administration fee and how to register.
