Fillings
Repairing a decayed or chipped tooth with a white composite filling that matches your tooth, or silver amalgam where strength matters more than looks.

Crowns and bridges
A crown is a cap over a tooth too broken down to fill. A bridge fills a gap by fixing a false tooth to the teeth on each side. Both are made for you by a dental laboratory.

Taking a tooth out when that is the better choice for you, either whole, or in sections when the tooth has to be removed surgically.

Pain, swelling, a broken tooth or a crown that has come off. Ring first thing and we will try to see you that day.

You pay for each treatment at the published fees below. Some fees are a range or a starting price. Your dentist will check the treatment suits you at the assessment, results vary from person to person, and you get your exact cost in writing before anything starts.

Root canal treatment, dentures, implants and whitening are on our private fee list, and a membership plan spreads the cost of routine care from £14.75 a month. When you book a private appointment you pay a 50% deposit, and laboratory-made work such as a crown or bridge is paid in full at the appointment where your dentist shapes the tooth and takes the mould. We accept new NHS patients subject to current availability and practice capacity. See the NHS charges.

Are you taking new patients?
Yes, we welcome new private patients. Your first visit is the new patient appointment, £100, and after that you can pay as you go or spread the cost with a membership plan.
White or silver filling: which should I have?
White composite fillings match the colour of your tooth, so they suit front teeth and smaller fillings. Silver amalgam is used for back teeth, where strength matters more than looks. Your dentist will recommend one based on the tooth and the size of the filling, and the price of each is in the table above.
What if I have not been for years?
Whenever you are ready to return to dental care, you are welcome here. Tell us when booking so we can plan the appointment around you.
Do I have to have everything done at once?
Treatment can sometimes be spread over several appointments. Your dentist will explain what needs prompt attention and what can safely wait, so you can agree a plan.
What if something goes wrong between appointments?
Ring first thing. Toothache, a swelling, or something that has broken or fallen out all count as reasons to call rather than wait for your next check-up.
